Degirol is useful for treating sore throats, canker sores, or inflammation of the mouth, gums, and tonsils due to bacterial and fungal infections. This drug is available in the form of lozenges and can used by children over the age of 10 years to adults.

Degirol contains dequalinium chloride. Dequalinium chloride has antiseptic properties that work by killing bacteria and fungi that cause mild infections of the mouth and throat. Please note that this medicine is not intended for long-term use.

Dosage and Rules of Use Degirol

The dose of Degirol to treat sore throat, canker sores, or inflammation of the mouth, gums, or throat due to bacterial and fungal infections in adults and children over the age of 10 is 1 lozenge, 3-4 times a day. The maximum dose is 8 tablets per day.
