Warning Before Consuming New Diatabs:

  • Do not take New Diatabs if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use New Diatabs if you have constipation, kidney failure, or liver failure.
  • Do not give New Diatabs to children <3 years of age without first consulting a doctor.
  • Do not use New Diatabs for more than 2 days or if diarrhea is accompanied by fever
  • Be careful taking New Diatabs if you are 65 years and over, because they can be more sensitive to side effects.
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, asthma, intestinal obstruction, and an enlarged prostate.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking New Diatabs.
  • Avoid consumption of sugary drinks, soda, caffeinated drinks, and alcohol while taking New Diatabs.
  • Immediately see a doctor if diarrhea persists or an allergic reaction occurs after taking New Diatabs.

Dosage and Rules for Use New Diatabs

Dosage and directions for use of New Diatabs depend on the age of the patient. Here's a general dose of New Diatabs use:

  • Adults and children >12 years: 2 tablets after each bowel movement.

    The maximum dose is 12 tablets a day.

  • Children aged 6–12 years: 1 tablet after each bowel movement.

    The maximum dose is 6 tablets a day.

New Diatabs Interactions with Other Drugs

New Diatabs can cause drug interactions when taken together with other drugs, including:

  • Enhances the effect of antidepressant, antihistamine, and antipsychotic drugs
  • Makes constipation worse when used with other antidiarrheal drugs
  • Lowering digoxin levels in the blood
  • Decreases absorption of trihexyphenidyl

How to Consume New Diatabs Correctly

Diarrhea can cause the body to lose fluids and electrolytes. To prevent this condition, drink plenty of water and electrolyte fluids.

Make sure you have read the instructions on the packaging before taking New Diatabs. Do not increase the dose and duration of treatment without first consulting your doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

New Diatabs are only used when you have diarrhea. Stop taking New Diatabs when the diarrhea has healed.

New Diatabs can be taken before or after meals, or as directed by a doctor.

New Diatabs can affect the absorption of other drugs in the digestive tract. Give a gap of 2-3 hours between taking New Diatabs and other drugs.

Store New Diatabs at temperatures below 30⁰C and in a place away from direct sunlight.

Side effects that may arise due to the use of New Diatabs include:
