  • Increased absorption of aluminum, if vitamin C is used with drugs containing aluminum, eg antacids
  • Decreased effect of chemotherapy drugs, antiviral drugs, and cholesterol statin drugs
  • Increased estrogen hormone, if vitamin C is taken with birth control pills
  • Decreased effectiveness of the blood thinner warfarin
