Thrombophobe beneficial for treat bruising or blood clots under the skin due to injury or inflammation of the veins located close to the skin (superficial phlebitis).
Thrombophob contains heparin sodium. Heparin is an anticoagulant drug that works by inhibiting the work of proteins that play a role in the blood clotting process. Thrombophobes should not be used on open wounds and skin ulcers.

There are two types of Thrombophob products available in Indonesia, namely:
- Thrombophob gelThrombophob gel contains the active substance heparin sodium as much as 20,000 IU per 100 grams.
- Thrombophob ointmentThrombophob ointment consists of a mixture of heparin sodium 5,000 IU and benzyl nicotinate 250 mg.

Heparin in Thrombophop for pregnant and lactating women | Category C: Heparin in animal studies has shown adverse effects on the fetus, but there have been no controlled studies in pregnant women. Warning Before Using Thrombophob
Before using this drug, you need to pay attention to the following points:
- Do not use Thrombophob if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine. Tell your doctor about any allergies you have.
- Do not use Thrombophob on open wounds and skin ulcers.
- Talk to your doctor about using Thrombophob if you are taking any supplements, herbal products, or medications, especially other anticoagulants, such as warfarin.
- Talk to your doctor about using Thrombophob if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy.
- See your doctor immediately if you have an allergic reaction or overdose after using Thrombophop.
Dosage and Rules for Use Thrombophob
Apply Thrombophob thinly on the affected area 2-3 times a day. If you are in doubt or have special health conditions, consult your doctor to get a dose and duration that suits your condition.
How to Use Thrombophob Correctly
Follow the doctor's recommendations and read the information listed on the Thrombophob packaging before using it. Apply Thrombophob thinly to the bruised area of the skin.
If you forget to use Thrombophob, it is recommended to use it immediately if the break with the next schedule of use is not too close. If it is close, ignore it and do not double the dose.
Store Thrombophob at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight. Keep medicine out of reach of children.
Interaction Thrombophobe with other drugs
There is no known drug interaction that will occur when Thrombophob is used with certain drugs, supplements, or herbal products.
However, the heparin contained in this product when used with other drugs can cause interactions in the form of an increased anticoagulant effect when used with blood thinners or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Tell your doctor if you plan to use Thromnophob with any medications, supplements, or herbal products, to prevent unwanted drug interactions.
Side effects and Danger Thrombophobe
If used in accordance with the existing instructions for use, this product rarely causes side effects. However, discontinue use and consult a doctor immediately if bruising does not improve, skin irritation occurs, or an allergic drug reaction occurs after using Thrombophob.
