  • Increased risk of ergotamine poisoning (ergotismus) when used with ergotamine
  • Decreased effectiveness of birth control pills

Side effects that may appear after taking oxytetracycline are:

  • Diarrhea
  • Nauseous
  • Throw up
  • Stomach ache
  • Ulcer
