Rhinos SR is a drug that is useful for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose, and nasal congestion. Rhinos SR no can cure allergies

Rhinos SR contains loratadine and pseudoephedrine. Loratadine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the effects of histamine which triggers an allergic reaction when the body is exposed to allergens (allergy-triggering substances/substances).

While pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that works by shrinking the blood vessels in the nasal passages, so that nasal congestion complaints can subside.

Rhinos SR is available as a slow-release capsule. Each capsule contains 5 mg of loratadine, 60 mg of immediate-release pseudoephedrine HCI, and 60 mg of delayed-release pseudoeohedrine HCI.

Warning Before Consuming Rhinos SR

Before consuming Rhinos SR, you need to pay attention to the following:

  • Do not take Rhinos SR if you are allergic to loratadine or pseudoephedrine. Tell your doctor about any allergies you have.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart or blood vessel disease, including arrhythmia, coronary heart disease, or hypertension. Rhinos SR should not be used by patients with these conditions.
  • Tell your doctor if you are currently on or in the last 10–14 days have had treatment with an MAOI. Rhinos SR should not be used by these patients.
  • Tell your doctor if you have or have had diabetes, seizures, kidney disease, liver disease, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, enlarged prostate gland, urinary retention, or hyperthyroidism.
  • Rhinos SR contains loratadine. As much as possible avoid driving a vehicle or doing activities that require alertness after taking this drug, because sometimes side effects can occur in the form of drowsiness.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking any medications, supplements, or herbal products.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy.
  • If symptoms do not improve after 7 days of using the drug, consult a doctor for further treatment.

Dose and Rules of Use Rhinos SR

The dose of Rhinos SR for adults and children aged 12 years and over is 1 capsule every 12 hours.

Rhinos SR can be taken before or after meals. Try to take the drug at the same time every day for maximum treatment.

Swallow the medicine whole with the help of a glass of water. Do not bite, chew, or open Rhinos SR capsules while taking it, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

This medicine may affect the results of certain laboratory tests, such as allergy tests. Be sure to tell your doctor or healthcare provider that you are taking Rhinos SR.

If you forget to take Rhinos SR, it is recommended to drink it immediately if the interval with the next consumption schedule is not too close. If it is close, ignore it and do not double the dose.

  • Increased risk of hypertensive crisis if used with MAOI drugs, such as linezolid
  • Increased risk of side effects when used with erythromycin, cimetidine, itraconazole, or ketoconazole
  • Decreased blood levels of Rhinos SR when used with carbamazepine or rifampicin
