Signs of Successfully Fertilized Ovulation As Early Pregnancy Symptoms

Signs of successful ovulation in each woman can be very diverse. In fact, not a few women who consider these signs as a sign of menstruation. Therefore, it is important to know the signs of successful ovulation so that pregnancy can be detected and checked early.

Ovulation is the process of releasing a mature egg that is ready to be fertilized from the ovary or ovary into the fallopian tube (the tube between the ovary and uterus).

In the process, the mature egg will meet the sperm in the uterus and fertilization will occur. Women who are planning a pregnancy are advised to always watch for signs of ovulation.

The signs of ovulation in each woman are quite varied. However, in general, women who are ovulating will usually experience mild abdominal cramps, breast tenderness, abdominal bloating, vaginal discharge, increased body temperature, and increased sexual arousal.

Recognize Variety Signs of Successfully Fertilized Ovulation

Ovulation generally occurs about 2 weeks before the first day of the next menstrual period. The process of fertilization or conception itself can occur within 1 day after sex or a few days later. The reason is, sperm can survive for 5 days in a woman's body.

About 10-14 days after fertilization, the egg will develop into an embryo or fetus which is then implanted in the uterine wall. When the embryo implants in the uterine wall, the woman will experience light bleeding or spotting from the vagina. This bleeding is called implantation bleeding.

Implantation bleeding is different from bleeding during menstruation. If during menstruation there is quite a lot of blood, but implantation bleeding will only look like pink blood spots or brown spots.

These signs of ovulation are generally accompanied by mild abdominal cramps, mood swings, backaches, and headaches.

Bleeding due to the fertilization process usually does not last long and will disappear within a few hours or about 2 days. This period can be interpreted as one of the early signs of pregnancy. However, not all pregnant women experience implantation bleeding.

Some Other Early Pregnancy Symptoms

In addition to implantation bleeding, a successful fertilization process makes a woman experience various other early pregnancy symptoms. Some of the early symptoms of pregnancy are:

  • Menstrual cycle stopped
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Fatigue
  • Frequent urination
  • Breast swells or feels a little sore

If you experience implantation bleeding as a sign of successful ovulation and are accompanied by the above symptoms, it's a good idea to do an independent pregnancy test using test pack to confirm whether you are pregnant or not.

If the result is negative, you can repeat the pregnancy test the following week. However, if the results are positive, you are encouraged to start taking care of your health and pregnancy.
