The dose of Dexteem Plus will be given by the doctor according to the condition and age of the patient. The usual dose of Dexteem Plus for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1 tablet, every 4–6 hours per day.

The content of dexchlorpheniramine in Dexteem Plus can increase the risk of side effects, such as drowsiness, relaxation, sleep, or coma when used with drugs monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), barbiturates, opioid analgesics, or tricyclic antidepressants.

Meanwhile, the dexamethasone content in Dexteem Plus can cause an interaction effect when used with diuretic drugs, warfarin, ketoconazole, erythromycin, or ritonavir. To avoid interaction effects, always tell your doctor if you are taking certain medications, supplements, or herbal products.
