Here is the Sanmol dosage to relieve fever, headache, or toothache:

Sanmol Tablet 500 mg

  • Mature: 1 tablet, 3-4 times a day.
  • Children aged 6–12 years: –1 tablet, 3-4 times a day.

Sanmol Syrup 60 ml

  • Infants aged 0–1 years: 2.5 ml, 3-4 times a day.
  • Children aged 1–2 years: 5 ml, 3-4 times a day.
  • Children aged 2–6 years: 5–10 ml, 3-4 times a day.
  • Children aged 6–9 years: 10-15 ml, 3-4 times a day.
  • Children aged 9–12 years: 15-20 ml, 3-4 times a day.

Sanmol Drops 15 ml

  • Children <1 year old: 0.6 ml, 3-4 times a day.
  • Children aged 1–2 years: 0.6–1.2 ml, 3-4 times daily.

Sanmol Injection/Infusion

  • Adults weighing >50 kg: 1 gram or equivalent to 100 ml of Sanmol infusion fluid. The dose can be repeated up to 4 times a day with an interval between administration of at least 4 hours.
  • Children weighing >33 kg and adults weighing <50 kg: 15 mg/kg body weight or 1.5 ml/kg body weight. The dose can be repeated up to 4 times a day with an interval between administration of at least 4 hours.

How to Use Sanmol Correctly

Read the instructions on the packaging before using Sanmol. Ask your doctor about the appropriate dose and duration of treatment for your condition.

Sanmol injection or infusion will be given directly by a doctor or medical officer under the supervision of a doctor through injection into a vein (intravenous / IV).

Sanmol tablets or syrup can be taken before or after meals. If you are taking Sanmol tablets, swallow the medicine with the help of plain water.

If you are taking Sanmol in the form of a syrup, first shake the medicine evenly, then take the medicine according to the dose using a measuring spoon.

Generally drugs to relieve fever or pain, such as menstrual pain. Sanmol can be given 3-4 times a day. Give a gap of at least 4 hours with the previous dose. Do not take Sanmol more than 4 times a day.

  • Increased risk of liver disease if used with leflunomide, pexdartinib, or teriflunomide
  • Decreased blood levels of Sanmol when used with rifampicin or anticonvulsant drugs, such as phenytoin or phenobarbital
  • Increased absorption of Sanmol when used with domperidone or metoclopramide
  • Increased blood levels of Sanmol when used with probenecid

In addition, Sanmol can also increase the risk of liver function disorders if used with alcoholic beverages.

Side Effects and Dangers of Sanmol

The paracetamol content in Sanmol rarely causes side effects, especially if used according to the recommended dosage.

However, in some people, the use of Sanmol can cause side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, headaches, or difficulty sleeping. Check with your doctor if these side effects don't go away or get worse.
