    Besides containing benzoyl peroxide with a concentration of 5%, Benzolac CL also contains clindamycin with a concentration of 1.2%.

  • Tell your doctor if you have atopic dermatitis or any other skin disorder.
  • Benzolac is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.
  • As much as possible avoid prolonged exposure to the sun while undergoing treatment with Benzolac, as this drug can cause the skin to become more sensitive to light. Always use sunscreen when you are outdoors.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking any medications, supplements, or herbal products.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy.

Dosage and Rules for Use of Benzolac

The following are general doses of Benzolac used in the treatment of acne in adults and children over the age of 12 years:

  • Benzolac 2½ and benzolac 5

    Apply the gel on the skin with acne, 1-2 times a day.

    Apply the gel thinly on the skin with acne, once a day at night.

The duration of using Benzolac will be determined according to the condition and severity of acne. Carry out regular check-ups according to the schedule given by the doctor, so that your condition is monitored.

How to Use Benzolac Correctly

Follow the doctor's advice and read the information on the medicine package before using Benzolac. Do not increase or decrease the dose, and do not extend the duration of use of the drug without a doctor's advice.

The benzoyl peroxide in Benzolac can decrease the effectiveness of tretinoin, isotretinoin, or tazarotene. In addition, this drug also causes skin and facial hair to turn yellow in color when used with products containing sulfonamides or sulfones.
