Patients also need to perform an examination of the function of the reproductive organs, heart, and kidneys to see whether there is a disturbance in the function of these organs. Genetic testing can also be done in the womb through a sample of amniotic fluid or placenta.

There is no medication or medical procedure that can cure Turner syndrome, but there are a number of therapies that can be used to treat the symptoms experienced by sufferers. One of them is hormone therapy. One type of hormone that can be given is growth hormone.
