Paramex is a product that Useful for relieving fever and pain. Some variants of paramex are also used to relieve flu symptoms, such as fever, stuffy nose, or dry cough.

- Paramex Muscle PainIn each tablet, Paramex Muscle Pain contains 350 mg of paracetamol and 200 mg of ibuprofen. This Paramex variant is used to relieve muscle pain, joint pain, and aches and pains. In addition, it can also be used to relieve fever, headache, and toothache.
- Paramex SKEach Paramex SK tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol and 50 mg of caffeine. This type of paramex is useful for relieving headaches and toothaches.

Precautions Before Taking Paramex
There are several things to consider before taking Paramex, namely:
- Do not take Paramex if you are allergic to paracetamol or other active ingredients contained in Paramex.
- Do not take Paramex if you have severe liver dysfunction.
- Do not consume alcoholic beverages while taking Paramex because it can increase the risk of liver damage.
- Do not take Paramex Flu & Cough if you are undergoing treatment with antidepressant drugs monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
- Consult a doctor first before giving Paramex to children.
- Consult about using Paramex if you have porphyria.
- Consult your doctor about using Paramex Flu & Cough if you have kidney disease, glaucoma, enlarged prostate gland, hyperthyroidism, urinary retention, diseases that put you at risk for hypoxia, or lung disease.
- Talk to your doctor if you plan to take Paramex with certain medications, supplements or herbal products.
- Talk to your doctor about using Paramex if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy.
- Do not take Paramex for more than 5 days, unless advised by a doctor. Stop taking this drug and check with your doctor if the complaints don't subside after 3-5 days of use.
- Stop using Paramex Flu and Cough if you experience difficulty sleeping, palpitations, or dizziness after taking this medicine.
- Immediately see a doctor if you experience symptoms of a drug allergy or overdose after taking Paramex.
Dosage and Instructions for Use Paramex
Paramex dosage depends on age and the type of product used. Here is the explanation:

- Paramex Flu and Cough
Children ages 6–12 years: tablet, 3 times daily
- Paramex Muscle PainAdults: 1 tablet, 3-4 times daily

How to Take Paramex Correctly
Consumption of Paramex according to the instructions for use listed on the drug packaging or as recommended by a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose.
Paramex, Paramex SK, and Paramex Flu & Cough variants can be consumed before or after meals. For Muscle Pain Paramex should be consumed after meals. Swallow Paramex tablets with a glass of water.
If you forget to take Paramex, take it as soon as you remember if the break with the next consumption schedule is not too close. When it is close, ignore and do not double the dose.
Store Paramex in a closed container in a cool room. Keep away from hot places and direct sunlight, and keep out of reach of children.
Interactions of Paramex with Other Drugs
Paramex contains a combination of drugs. Inter-drug interactions that can occur can vary, depending on the variant. However, in general, the following are some of the possible drug interactions:
- Increases the risk of a hypertensive crisis if Paramex Flu & Cough is used with antidepressant drugs monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)
- Increased risk of bleeding and gastric ulcers if Paramex Muscle Pain is used with aspirin, clopidogrel, escitalopram, or anticoagulants, such as warfarin
- Increased risk of kidney damage if Paramex Muscle Pain is used with ciclosporin or tacrolimus
In addition, Paramex can increase the risk of liver damage if taken with alcoholic beverages. The effectiveness of Paramex can also decrease if this drug is taken with herbal medicines St John's wort.
Paramex Side Effects and Dangers
Generally, Paramex is safe if taken according to the recommended dosage and instructions for use. Conversely, the use of Paramex in excess of the dose in the long term can cause liver damage.
For Paramex Flu & Cough, some of the possible side effects are as follows:

- Fast heart rate or palpitations
