Lincomycin - Benefits, dosage and side effects

Lincomycin is an antibiotic drug to treat severe bacterial infections. Lincomycin can also be used to treat bacterial infections in patients who are allergic to penicillin antibiotics.

Lincomycin works by interfering with the formation of a special protein that bacteria need to keep growing and living. That way the bacteria cannot grow and eventually die. Please note, this antibiotic cannot be used to treat colds, flu, or other viral infections.
